Michael Fassnauer is the founder and CEO of UBIMET, the globally leading solutions provider for the weather-dependent insurance industry. He completed his PhD in chemistry with a focus on building a neural network for sensor arrays at the University of Vienna. In 2004, he founded Europe’s first major private weather service together with meteorology graduate Manfred Spatzierer, with the objective of offering hyperlocal weather solutions and developing a meteorological AI on a global scale.
