Mark Van den Broek is the Chief Information Officer for Manulife Asia managing 10 markets across the region. As a member of Manulife Asia’s executive team, he is responsible for leading the company’s technology strategy and is focused on ensuring the team grow and scale the business to achieve Manulife’s bold ambition to be the Digital Customer Leader in the industry. He is also a core member of the Global IT leadership team, providing vision and leadership for developing and implementing technology, digital and customer experience initiatives at a global level. Mark has more than 22 years of experience in IT, Operations and Transformation with expertise spanning investment management, wealth management, life, health, property and casualty insurance domains. Previous to his current role, he held a number of senior management positions, including Manulife Hong Kong CIO & COO and Regional CIO of AXA Asia. Mark holds a first-class honours degree in Business Studies from Imperial College London. He is also a holder of the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
